Light Up the Holidays
Light Up the Holidays with McAllen was first hosted at the McAllen Convention Center in December 2014 to commemorate the first annual Christmas Tree Lighting along with the McAllen Holiday Parade. The festivities consist of various activities for the entire family and are available to the public throughout the month of December.
OVERVIEW
Light Up the Holidays with McAllen has been a very special project for all of us at BK60 since it's creation in 2014 since we got to develop the event brand from the ground up. Since it would be another community event held at a the MCC, we wanted to tie it in with the brand identity we had created a few years back for Sunset Live Outdoor Concert Series.
To do so, we update the illustration of the building's façade and created our very own South Texas snow globe featuring the 65-foot tree accompanied by some palm trees. We then created individual logos for the series of events, all featuring the McAllen Convention Center front and center.
