OVERVIEW

For the second year in a row, BLACK KOI 360 was selected as the official design studio for the Rio Grande Valley American Cancer Society's Cattle Baron's Ball. 

 

Unlike the previous year, we were given the opportunity to pitch the theme and concept. Our theme was based on the luminaria ceremony that's hosted every year at Relay for Life events nationwide, as well as what we are sometimes told as children when a loved one passes - that they become stars that watch over us. That's how we came up the concept for A Starry Night Over the Rio Grande. 

 

We knew that this year we had complete creative liberty, and we wanted to go all out designing the brand for the event along with all collateral materials. The final product was one of the best projects we have ever worked on, as well as the biggest one we've sponsored so far under our Design for Social Good campaign.
