Budapest Unveils A Fun, Vibrant Logo For 2024 Olympic City Bid

Budapest has recently unveiled its candidate city bidding logo design for the 2024 Summer Olympic Games.

It is the last city to present its design among other bidding cities, including Rome, Paris, and Los Angeles.

Designed by Graphasel, Balázs Fürjes gave the following description of the logo, “At its centre is the emblem of the Freedom Statue, with the fresh, fortifying waters of the Danube at its feet, surrounded by the celebratory warmth and openness of the Hungarian personality”.

The logo is cleverly constructed by breaking down and putting together pieces of the rings from the original Olympic logo.

All four candidate city logos, in order of introduction, sized so that all Olympic rings are the same.
